How to make a palm tree from a pool noodle
I made a palm tree for my bulletin board by using a palm top from Hobby Lobby (on sale for $5) and a pool noodle from Dollar Tree. The pool noodle was blue but I spray painted it brown. Stick the palm top in the hole on top of the noodle and BAM...palm tree!!
